Say what you like about Selena Gomez’s music (c’mon, Bad Liar is a bop), but you’ve got to admit she has great style.
Seriously, she’s not one of the most followed people on Instagram for nothing. We want pretty much everything she wears.
So it made sense when, last year, Coach roped in Selena for a collaboration, getting her to appear in ads and create her own line of bags and accessories, Selena Grace, in 2017.
Following the success of that line, Selena and Coach are teaming up again – and this time, they won’t just be selling bags.
For the first time, Selena will be collaborating with Coach creative director Stuart Vevers to create a ready-to-wear clothing collection.
We don’t have exact details of all the clothes yet, obviously, but sneak peeks show pink silk slips and delicate lace. We’re keen already.
We do know that alongside clothing, the collection will include outwear, handbags, small leather goods, and other accessories, so those who don’t fancy dropping a load of cash will still be able to get in on the action.
Coach says the range reflects Selena’s personal style, and that each piece is ‘imbued with unique touches that speak to Ms Gomez’ unapologetically confident and powerful feminine spirit’. Sounds good.
‘I am so excited to be working with Coach again,’ said Selena. ‘Getting to create my own collection with Stuart has been such a fun process, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on over the past several months.’
The new collection will launch this coming autumn. Get ready.
