Felicity Hayward is massive in the body positive world.
Yes, she’s a plus-size model but she’s also something of a self-love mogul, having founded the brand Self Love Brings Beauty.
It’s a movement promoting positivity, mental health, and confidence in both women and men.
And her logo is pretty distinctive – it’s two perfectly manicured hands forming a heart shape with Self Love Brings Beauty in the centre.
She’s got it on shirts, hoodies, bags.
Now, she claims, online retailer Shein has ripped off her design – before having the audacity to ask her to promote their new plus size range.
Back in September, Felicity claimed that they’d been stealing her design by selling ‘exact copies’ of their baby pink tees.
And now, the brand has reached out to her manager to ask if she’d be willing to help promote their new line.
‘I don’t know if any of you guys remember when Shein stole the whole of the self-love brings beauty logo and then reproduced the t-shirt and refused to take it down…they’ve just emailed my publicist asking if I will help promote their new plus size range,’ she says on her Instagram story.
‘Let me have a think about that…will I help to publicise your new plus size range when you stole my company’s brand logo and refused to take it down…?
‘So, I’m just warning everyone that you should be very cautious of Shein because they rip off independent designers and expect you to work for free.’

Felicity tells Metro.co.uk: ‘Shein had the audacity to email my manager and ask for me to support and promote their new plus size line after weeks of a constant battle of me trying to get them to take down a product, which was an identical rip off of my brand.
‘Maybe don’t steal a body positive brands logo before asking the same community to help them. I literally cannot believe it!’
Metro.co.uk has reached out to Shein for comment.
