A photo of a man holding an umbrella covering a cadet of the JROTC Marines standing at attention during the Atlanta Braves game Monday went viral.

A JROTC cadet was standing at attention next to an empty seat the team has dedicated to the soldiers that did not make it home in the pouring rain during a third inning moment of recognition. The chair has been labeled, “POW-MIA Chair of Honor.”

The JROTC cadet has not been named, but he is from Parkview High School.

No one sits in it as it serves as a daily reminder to fans that there wouldnt be baseball if there arent people fighting for this country.

The plaque next to the seat says, “Since World War I, more than 92,000 American soldiers are unaccounted for. This unoccupied seat is dedicated to the memory of these brave men and woman and to the sacrifices made in serving this country.”

They sacrifice so much for us, we can sacrifice for them too!!! #RespectOurMilitary
