Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) announced he would be self-quarantining after Senator Rand Paul tested positive for the CCP virus.
NTD refers to the novel coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19, as the CCP virus because the Chinese Communist Partys coverup and mismanagement allowed the virus to spread throughout China and create a global pandemic.
Sen. Romney is the second senator to self-quarantine after Sen. Paul, who announced Sunday that he tested positive for coronavirus, according to The Hill.
Sen. Paul is currently in self-quarantine and “is feeling fine,” his office statement wrote.
Romney told reporters that he had lunch with Paul and few others on Friday where he sat next to Paul, according to a statement released by his office.
