Harry Kane will return to the club’s turning after five days of PCR COVID-19 test, said the club today. The player will resume the training with the group if the test is negative.

After the England international returned from his training holiday in the U.S., he has been training alone.

According to UK’s testing plan, Kane will be leave quarantine hotel after five days, once the result is negative.

If Kane joins the training, he will only have two training sessions before Spur’s first match. The club’s Premier League opener will be against Man City.

Nuno Espirito Santo, Tottenham’s manager, announced that the 28-year-old player will be ready to play against the club he wants to join: Man City.

According to Kane, he arrived on time, as he read the club’s schedule on social media. However, the club sees Kane coming late.

Santo seems to disregard Kane from the squad if the latter is not in the fine form to play. In case that happens, Son Heung will play along with Lucas Moura or Steven Bergwijn in the front line.

Doubts on players and summer transfers

Concerning the goalkeeping spot, as usual Hugo Lloris seems to maintain his place in the first squad. It is worth mentioning the club singed Pierluigi Gollini, who may set on the bench.

Similarly, Cristian Romero will not be on the squad. The player picked up an injury during his spell in with Argentina in Copa America. Eric Dire and Davinson, however, will be in the XI of the Spurs.

Romero is not the only players that may not play. There are other players who may miss the opening such as Tanguy Ndombele and Givoani Lo Celso. As substitutes, Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg along with Dele Alli will formulate the Spur’s midfield’s triangle.

The club have had somehow satisfying pre-season quest. They drew with Chelsea and snatched a win from Arsenal.

Nevertheless, news overshadowed the club’s preparations, as all news emphasis the status of Kane concerning his move to Man City.

Spurs keep reassuring their forward won’t leave, while Man City believe they will be able to sign him this summer.
