The Spanish club decline to renew Francisco Isco’s contract, which is set to expire in 2022 but intend to sell the player before the contract ends.
The 29-year-old performance with the Los Blancos dropped, as he became a bench player for more than two years now, with Zidane leave and come back. Now that he lives the final year of his contract, Isco is set to face a grim future with the Spanish club.
It is reported that there are no intentions for renewal with Isco, as the club want to cut the salary, and they do not wish to have him for another season.
Meanwhile, the club’s management is looking to profit by selling him for a club any time soon.
The White House sent Isco a clear hint that his future in the Spanish capital club is not guaranteed at all, and he may be transferred to another club if an agreement is reached.
The club will consider it a win situation if Isco gets sold for £15m
Isco, who has accompanied the bench more than he played at the time of Zidane, heaved a sigh of relief when the French manager left the club, hoping that Carlo Ancelotti would serve him a better chance to play and show his addition to the Squad.
At the same time, the Spanish international is sure that his chances of staying at Santiago Bernabeu are slim.
Isco has put in around 170 appearances with Real Madrid, scoring 28 goals and providing 37 assists. His numbers dropped gradually in line with his impressions as he played less than 30 matches and not full matches as the last three seasons.
Isco hopes to be on the Squad of Luis Enrique at Qatar 2022 World Cup, but he believes that he has not played enough at Real Madrid to secure a place in the Spanish international team.
The new manager, the man who brought the 10th for the whites, believes in Isco. It is thought that he has talked with the player, informing him that he is a big plus for the Squad in case he stays.
It is believed that Napoli is among the clubs interested in signing Isco, but the Italian club hopes to have the player once his contract expires so that they can sign him for free.
