EBN- Zoé Clauzure from France was crowned the winner of Junior Eurovision 2023 in a live broadcast from the Palais Nikaïa in France.
The 21st edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest has just come to an end. Following a tense voting sequence, France with Zoé Clauzure. She performed her song “Coeur” as the winner of this year’s edition. But, Spain finished in 2nd place and Armenia in 3rd place.
Zoé Clauzure, aged 13, won the 21st edition of the Junior Eurovision competition. The French city of Nice hosted the show on Sunday (26 November). The young Frenchwoman sang a song entitled ‘Cœur’, about bullying at school.
After Lissandro in 2022 and Valentina in 2020, Zoé Clauzure gave France another Junior Eurovision victory – the country’s third since 2020.
Spain’s Sandra Valero and her song ‘Loviu’ finished in second place, and Armenia Yan Girls and the song ‘Do It My Way’ finished third.
There were 16 countries this year, one of them Estonia, which was participating for the first time.
Following Lissandro’s win last year in Yerevan, the contest was moved to France for the second time in just three years. Palais Nikaïa, at the homonymous city of Nice, opened its doors today for delegations from the sixteen participating countries. The Laury Thilleman and Olivier Minne hosted the show.
The number of the participating countries remained the same as last year, as Serbia and Kazakhstan withdrew, while Germany returned after a year of absence. The Junior Eurovision family, also, welcomed a new member, Estonia. She made its first appearance today at the stage of Palais Nikaïa.
