EBN- The Spanish national team won the final of the 2024 European Nations Championship and achieved the title of Euro champion this year, by defeating its counterpart, the English national team, by two goals to one.
King Felipe of Spain, accompanied by Prince William, went down to the field, at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, to honor the teams and give the players medals. Prince William appeared very sad and was keen to console the England players, while the King of Spain handed the team captain the cup in huge celebratory scenes amidst the fans’ celebrations and fireworks.
After the cup was handed over, Infanta Sofia went down to celebrate with her father and the team with the cup.

Prince William, 42, and his son Prince George met King Felipe of Spain, who was the first to arrive in the box with his daughter Infanta Sofia, who came to support their country’s team.
Several pictures were circulated of the two royal families meeting in the stands, watching the match together in a sporting spirit, and taking some pictures with each other. Prince William also exchanged some side conversations with King Felipe just before the match.
Britain’s Prince William has marked the first anniversary of his Homewards initiative by returning to the London borough of Lambeth, where he first launched the project, and while giving a speech at the event, the prince’s voice was barely audible, and he apologised to the audience, blaming the national team for the loss.
