New York City, Europe Biref News – The Paramount+ TV Network has made a huge announcement on Tuesday that Viral earworm “ Baby Shark” is all set to launch its own full length movie.
The memorable children’s song began going viral from one platform to another when South Korean edutainment brand Pinkfong posted a Baby Shark Dance video on youtube in June 2016.
The Baby Shark video is one the the most watched videos of all time on youtube platform. It reportedly crossed over 10 billion views.
Paramount+ mentioned that Nickelodeon Animation and Pinkfong are getting together to produce the Baby Shark movie which is all set to release in 2023.
New York Times published an article back in 2019 suggesting that Baby Shark is based on popular decades old Camp Singalong.
But Pinkfong’s 2 minute ,16 second version has entered the audience to its fullest all across the Globe. The baby shark dance fever started from Indonesia in 2017 and the craze never slowed down as the rest is history.
In 2018, The Baby Shark dance challenge went viral on Tik Tok and became the global entertainment purpose. According to Billboard Magazine, the song debuted on the billboard on January 12, 2019 and in now time got to the list of hot 100 , holding the 32nd spot throughout.

Baby Shark’s success has also boosted the share price of Pinkfong’s major shareholder. In June, the company’s share price rose more than 10% in a single day after Elon Musk tweeted about the viral “ Baby Shark Dance” video.
As per Company’s Release , the Baby Shark full length movie is announced alongside a slate of new offerings from Paramount+ including three new “ Sponge Bob Square pants’ ‘ Spin off films and a fresh “ Dora the Explorer’ ‘ CG animated series.
