He threatened to impose tougher sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine. He even assisted the Ukraine army with weapons. He is working with US allies to take control of the situation.
All of his efforts went in vain as President Vladimir Putin has initiated a “Special Military Operation” into the Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine.
All the reports that are coming in from Ukraine over destruction are irregular and unclear. Explosions can be heard in the capital Kyiv and In several other parts of the Ukraine .
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that Russia has carried out missile strikes on Infrastructure and is planning for a full destruction of Ukraine but our forces are ready to retaliate and protect our territories.
The way Biden handles the whole Russian invasion situation can be a hot topic of discussion in the coming days and these can really impact Political fortunes and US relations with the world.
Joe Biden Announced that the United States along with its allies would respond decisively to Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified attack”.
Biden was always going to be in a shell as his administration announced that they would try to do everything possible to help Ukraine defend itself but totally refused to send its troops in Ukraine.
Putin was smart enough to know that Biden is never going to enter into a war against another nuclear power to shield a country that shares a long border with Russia. On top of that, even Washington does not have a defence agreement with Ukraine.
Praise for Alliance Building For Ukraine:
The experts praised Biden for building a strong relationship with its allies to prepare sanctions that can really hurt the Russian economy and be able to penetrate Putin’s inner circle. He even convinced Germany to stop the Nord stream 2 gas pipeline with Russia.
Some of the US lawmakers have suggested that Biden must have imposed strict sanctions on Russia way earlier to prevent invasion but Biden officials said in response that would have reduced their impact now.
US officials have accepted that sanction could spur higher oil prices. This could be one of Biden’s strategies to fight inflation. However, it remains uncertain whether these sanctions would be enough for Putin to back down.
