South Tyneside, Europe Brief News – A 25-year old man was stabbed to death in South Tyneside. Armed police Officers restricted a street and covered the scene to investigate the horrible tragedy. Police arrested six suspects at the scene who seem to have a close connection with the murder.
The medical team tried their best to save the person but he died in a hospital due to suffering from major injuries.
Northumbria Police said in a statement “Officers are appealing for witnesses following the death of a 25-year-old man”
The incident took place shortly before 1 am on Saturday, Police in the area received a report of a noisy dispute taking place between two parties at Marshall Wallis road.
Emergency services attended a 25-year-old man with major injuries. The Slayer used the bladed article as his weapon to kill the man. The man was then taken to the hospital but sadly he was not able to make it due to severe injuries.
Cops All over the street in South Tyneside
Cops have been searching the area and property to find a clue to get to the murderer. They have sealed off the street to pedestrians and traffic until they complete the Investigation.
As per various reports, the Specially Trained Officer has also been searching drains along the street. The Sniffer dog team is also fulfilling their duties to find something substantial which can help solve the murder case.
Paul Woods, Detective Chief Inspector said “ First and foremost our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time. They are being supported by specialist officers and we will continue to offer them any support they need”.
He further added, “We would ask that their privacy is respected as they continue to try to come to terms with their loss”.
He also said that he believes that some people may have been present at the time incident and would appeal to them to come forward and help the officials with this murder case.
He requests people to come forward even if they have small or insignificant information about this horrendous incident. A small amount of information can be helpful in solving the investigation as this is concerning the safety of people in the entire area.
