CBD Products boom
The European Union banned the recreational use of cannabis products but still, some countries allow the sale of CBD flowers and leaves which are produced by the marijuana plant.
However, those CBD flowers and leaves do not have similar psychoactive properties as marijuana to make cannabis users high.
Small shops for CBD products have grown in numbers all across Europe in recent years. It indicates the rising demand for CBD products in European countries.
According to forecasts by the cannabis research firm prohibition partners, the CBD market can reach 3.2 billion euros by 2025.
In November 2020, the European Court of justice declared that CBD products are not considered narcotic substances under EU law.
Quality control
A lot of consumers who have been taking cannabis for decades to relieve pain and suffering caused by genetic diseases asked governments to plan measures to regulate the industry in the right manner.
They also demand the government set certain standards for the testing and labelling of CBD products so the consumer can purchase them without any real fuss.
CBX says it now has about 300 products online that have all undergone quality checks and are available for customers.
