EBN- British star Adele shocked her fans by announcing a new artistic plan that does not include releasing new songs or albums, as she wants to take a long break from music.
In an interview with the German channel ZDF on the sidelines of her recent presence in Munich in preparation for her new concerts in Germany, Adele caused a huge stir with her statements in which she revealed her intention to retire from music for a temporary and long period and refrain from releasing any new album.
She also announced her intention to take a long break away from working in music after concluding her concerts in her program “Weekends With Adele” in Las Vegas and Europe.
I don’t have any plans for new music at all, I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while,” she said.
“I don’t like being famous, I like being able to make music all the time,” she added, noting that doing 100 live shows over the past two years has left her feeling like her tank is completely empty.
She also hinted at a career in acting, talking about a film role she hopes to do and is confident she will succeed.
