EBN- Large numbers of fans of different nationalities, celebrities, and international stars lined up in the stands to welcome the world gymnastics star, and the most decorated in history, the owner of 4 gold medals, Simone Biles, as she participates in the vault competition qualifiers during the gymnastics competitions at the Paris 2024 Olympics in France.
Simone Biles appeared after a long absence from the scene, due to a psychological problem she suffered from nearly two years ago.
Tom Cruise, 62, was among the first in the stands to watch Biles’ comeback, and Ariana Grande was also in attendance, along with actress Cynthia Erivo and her brother Frankie Grande, and sitting opposite them was Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Also in attendance were American rapper Snoop Dogg, who carried the Olympic torch at the 2024 Paris Games on Friday, singer John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen, and actress Jessica Chastain, who attended with her daughter, wearing a white shirt with the US flag on it.
Biles injured her ankle during warm-ups and briefly left with Dr. Marcia Faustin, the USA Gymnastics team doctor. Biles returned a short time later with her ankle strapped and a slight limp, but continued to complete her floor, vault and bars events without issue.
