Luke Shaw and his wife Anouska celebrated with Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague at a lavish New Year’s Eve party and were spotted doing an “awkward dance” on TikTok.
The England international was seen in a video clip repeating the phrase “Your mother is on benefits” as part of a popular trend.
Some Manchester United fans have criticised Luke Shaw on social media, describing his appearance in the video as “embarrassing” as the Red Devils go through a difficult time.
Manchester United currently sits 14th in the Premier League table with 22 points after a run of four straight defeats.
He has featured in just 68 minutes for Manchester United in the Premier League this season after suffering a series of injuries last year.
Injuries have limited Luke Shaw to eight appearances for Manchester United in 2024, while he has played three times for England at Euro 2024.
