EBN- The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has officially returned to Instagram, marking the beginning of a new chapter on the platform with the launch of a new account on New Year’s Day.
Markle posted on her new account a video taken by her husband, Prince Harry, on the beach near their home in Montecito, California.
Markle, 43, is seen in the video wearing an all-white outfit, running barefoot towards the waves with her back to the camera. She stops to trace “2025” in the sand before laughing and running away.
Although Markle turned off comments on the post, she received likes from celebrity friends including Serena Williams, Chrissy Teigen and Tan France.
In August 2023, Page Six reported that Markle had acquired the handle “@meghan” for her Instagram comeback, and the account had 113,000 followers when she posted the beach video, even though she did not follow any accounts herself.
Her black and white profile picture shows her smiling with her hair down.
