EBN- Ipswich Town bid farewell to the FA Cup after a thrilling 4-5 loss to Nottingham Forest on penalties, in the match that brought them together on Monday evening at the City Ground in Nottingham.
The original and extra time of the match ended in a 1-1 draw, in a match that came within the round of 16 of the FA Cup for the 2025 season. After the two teams failed to decide the match during extra time, the referee resorted to penalty kicks, which granted Nottingham Forest a ticket to qualify for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
