Prince Harry , 40, attended the One805 Rock for Responders charity fundraiser yesterday at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara, California. The location is located near the Duke of Sussex’s house. Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and their two kids, Prince Archie, age five, and Princess Lilibet, age three, reside in Santa Barbara’s Montecito neighborhood.
The nonprofit One805, based in Santa Barbara, put on this sold-out concert to help those impacted by the floods and those who lost their homes and businesses, as well as to raise money for California’s recovery from the damage.
The event served as a fundraiser, with a percentage of the earnings supporting musicians impacted by the wildfires and providing mental health assistance to people impacted in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
The Duke of Sussex is a long-time advocate for mental health and has served as Chief Executive Officer of the mental health and coaching platform BetterUp since 2021 to promote this work. Harry and Meghan have also supported One805’s fundraising in recent years.
At least 29 people have died in the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area, which began on January 7 and were not fully contained until January 31.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry also spoke with officials at the food distribution site, where the World Central Kitchen charity was distributing meals. They met with Spanish chef José Andrés, the founder of the organization, of which the couple are longtime supporters. The organization aims to provide hot meals to people in crisis areas.

The foundation is also exploring volunteer opportunities to assist with mental health recovery for those who need immediate assistance, while facilitating long-term recovery efforts.
