However, the club is still in a developing process, where this team has the potentials to go further this season. It is logical, as more players are returning to the pitch.
Did not play but made a difference
The club presented the newcomer, Raphael Varane, who will join training with the group next week. Varane’s arrival will reinforce the last line of the Red Devils. Also, Varane is sparking a competition in the defensive line. And that is why Lindelof played a brilliant match.
Creating competition in the dressing room is for the club’s best.
The English international, who joined this summer, played his first-ever game in the Premier League. He played the last 20 minutes of the match and looked enthusiastic to exert a positive impact on the pitch.
Anthony Martial, who had been missing his fine form, sat on the bench today. The French forward hope to gain his form like back in 2019/20. Back then, the player scored 23 goals.
Likewise, the Uruguayan, Edinson Cavani, did not join the fellows in the pitch. Unlike others, he extended his vacation and will be back soon.
Marcus Rashford, who just had shoulder surgery, will be back sooner than expected, said the player. The fit version of the English player is stunning. He scored 22 goals while suffering shoulder pain.
While Donny van de Beek did not play, the player followed a training program this summer. He has been significantly transformed in terms of fitness. He will add a lot to Man United this season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes.
Solskjaer and his men started their season with a stunning win, but there will be tougher tests for the Red Devils.
