Liverpool initiated talks with their Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah over a new contract with the Reds, Klopp hinted on Saturday.
The English club has announced contract renewals for Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Fabinho, and van Dijk this season. While Salah has two years to play at Anfield, the club hope to renew the contract of the Egyptian king.
In the world of football, it is obvious that players talk in public once there are official talks. Likewise, the 29-year-old will not talk about this move with the club until the latter open official talks.
“I am involved in pretty much everything in the club,” said Klopp, “Maybe some talks happen without me.”
The German manager stated that it might possible that there are talks that I do know of. However, the rule is we do not talk about such issues in public. It is “how it always is.”
‘Good moment football-wise, mood-wise’

The Reds manager expressed how happy he is towards the performance of Mohamed Salah. “Mo is obviously in a really, really good moment football-wise, mood-wise,” said Klopp, “how he behaved from the first day when he came back, absolutely great.”
Salah has put in 159 appearances in the Premier League, scoring 98 goals, which is a record number. Mo has started this season brilliantly, as he helped the Reds win, scoring two goals and providing an assist.
As English sports agencies circulate, the Egyptian forward has no intention to leave Anfield any time soon. And the talks over a new contract will find their way to conclusion.
It is going on slowly, as the player still has two years in his contract.
The Reds will face Burnley at Anfield today, hoping to snatch another win and go on.
