EBN- Anant Ambani, the son of the richest man in India and Asia, made waves globally on social media platforms last March due to his 3-day pre-wedding party, which was extravagant, cost huge sums of money, and included events that no wedding had ever witnessed before, including travel and celebrations.
Many celebrities, stars of art, politics, and sports attended, including the founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, and his wife, Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Ivanka Trump and her husband, Shah Rukh Khan, Rihanna, and Deepika Padukone, not to mention a huge cruise that included 800 friends that went from Italy to France and lasted for 4 days, but it seems that the family still has other celebrations in store.
Not content with a pre-wedding party in their hometown of Jamnagar and a historic wedding on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani have decided to throw a mass wedding before the wedding as part of the celebrations for their 28-year-old son Anant and Radhika Merchant, 29, daughter of Viren Merch.ant, CEO of a major healthcare company, and entrepreneur Sheela Merchant.
According to hindustantimes, the wedding invitation image shared by ANI revealed that the Ambani family is also set to organise another event, a mass wedding for the poor in Palghar, Maharashtra.
“As part of the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, a mass wedding was organised at 4:30 pm on July 2, at Swami Vivekanand Vidhyamandir in Palghar,” ANI wrote.
“Nita and Mukesh Ambani are contributing to this noble cause and will be celebrating this occasion with the family, and we would be delighted if you could join us in witnessing this celebration,” the invitation continued.

Mukesh Ambani is worth $111 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, making him the richest person in Asia and the 11th richest person in the world. The 66-year-old businessman runs the Reliance Group, founded by his father, Dhirubhai Ambani, with businesses ranging from oil refining to retail, telecoms, food and digital streaming services. In January, he got engaged to Merchant, who also serves on the board of his father’s pharmaceutical company Encore, in a traditional ceremony at Ambani’s grand residence at Antilia in Mumbai. Ambani’s 27-storey high-rise residence had previously attracted global attention for being the world’s most expensive property when it was built.
