Succession leads the TV nominations with nine in total, including best TV drama series.
Only Murders in the Building, The Morning Show and The Crown are also among other TV shows to be recognised.
Barbie’s nine nominations include Margot Robbie as best actress in a musical or comedy, Ryan Gosling for best supporting actor, and Greta Gerwig for best director.

Cedric the Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama announced the nominees. The ceremony follows on 7 January, four days before Oscar voting begins.
The awards ceremony will air live on CBS Sunday, Jan. 7, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET, directly after an NFL on CBS Sunday doubleheader. The show will also stream on Paramount+ and be available on the CBS app.
