EBN- Barcelona inflicted a crushing defeat on its guest, Real Betis (5-1), in the match that brought them together on Wednesday evening, in the round of sixteen of the Spanish King’s Cup.
The Catalan team’s five goals were scored by the following players: Spaniard Gavi, Frenchman Jules Kounde, Brazilian Rafinha, Spaniard Ferran Torres, and Spaniard Lamine Jamal in the (3rd, 27th, 59th, 66th, and 75th) minutes, respectively.
While Brazilian striker Vitor Roque scored the visitors’ only goal from a penalty kick in the 84th minute of the match that took place at the Olympic Stadium of Luis Companys.
Barcelona thus booked a place in the quarter-finals of the Spanish King’s Cup.
It is worth noting that this victory came four days after the “El Clasico” match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final, which brought them together last Sunday, at the “Shining Jewel” stadium in the Saudi city of Jeddah, and ended with a crushing victory for the Catalan team (5-2).
