Washington DC, Europe Brief News – Jen Psaki, the White House Press Secretary said that president Joe Biden will travel to Europe next week to meet European leaders in-person to discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
president Joe Biden is all set to meet NATO and European leaders at a summit in Brussels on March 24. He will also join a scheduled European council summit to come up with further plans about sanctions and to stop Russian leaders from creating more chaos.
Jen Psaki said, “ While he is there, his goal is to meet in person face to face with his European counterparts and talk about, assess where we are at this point in the conflict in the invasion of Ukraine by Russia”.
She further added, “ We have been incredibly aligned to date. The President is a big believer in face to face diplomacy. So it is an opportunity to do exactly that”.
The Trip follows on Vice President Kamala Harris’s visit to eastern flank NATO countries of Poland and Romania last week to discuss with leaders the growing refugee crisis in eastern Europe sparked by the Russian invasion and to underscore the Biden administration’s support for NATO allies.
president Joe Biden knew what Russia was Upto
Biden was the one who alerted The European allies and the world way before the invasion started that Putin has made up his mind to destroy Ukraine. And that is what everyone witnessed in a few day’s time.
Biden confirmed then that if Russia goes ahead with his plans to destroy Ukraine, Russia will be the only one to blame for the catastrophic and needless war of choice.
Biden also claimed that the US and its allies are well prepared to defend every inch of NATO territory from any threat to our collective security. And since Russia attacked close to NATO territory last week, the US is planning to come up with more sanctions to further demoralise Russia.
Biden was never interested in going into a war with Russia as it was always going to be a wrong choice so since then Biden has been telling Russia that the doors are open for diplomacy.
But Russian President Vladimir Putin was never going to hear anyone as he was angry with Ukraine’s leaders who he call neo-nazis and he started the invasion as a special military operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine.
