British PM Johnson declared self-isolation for ten days after contacting a confirmed case of COVIS-19 at his office on Sunday.
The Prime Minister is believed to have made direct contact with the head of Health Secretary Sajid Javid, who was tested positive on Saturday.
“We did look briefly at the idea of us taking part in the pilot scheme which allows people to test daily but I think it’s far more important that everybody sticks to the same rules,” the PM said in a recorded video.

This came as the country faces controversy over when or whether to lift the restrictions on people to curb the virus.
The government had earlier declared it would release most COVID-19 restrictions starting from Monday after observing a massive decline in death cases in the country.
More than 90% of the Kingdom’s residents received at least one dose of the vaccinations.
However, the cases are soaring in the country and removing the restrictions faces huge criticism from opposition politicians and experts.

Hospitalizations and deaths are still far lower than previous infections.
“As international experts have said, lifting all restrictions at once on Monday is an experiment,” tweeted Munira Wilson, health spokeswoman for the opposition Liberal Democrats.
