UK PM Boris Johnson has come under fire over several allegations that his government broke social distancing measures last year.
This came after a photo appeared to show the UK PM socialising during 2020 lockdown.
The picture, published by the Guardian newspaper on Sunday, shows Johnson with his wife Carrie, who appears to be holding their newborn son, and two other people at a table on a terrace in the Downing Street garden with cheese and wine.
Nearby is another table of four other people. A short distance away are a larger group standing on the grass around a table with bottles of wine.
All people were entirely within the rules of the time.
Last week Boris Johnson apologised for a video that showed his staff joking about a Christmas party last December, saying he is “sickened” by it.
But speaking to MPs, he said that there was no party that broke Covid rules.
Boris Johnson said an inquiry will take place to punish any rule-breakers.
Media reports confirmed that dozens of people attended the party at Downing Street during lockdown.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet will this afternoon discuss a potential move to “plan B” measures in England, including working from home.
