EBN- The 69-year-old international star Bruce Willis has been completely out of sight since he was diagnosed with dementia, and after retiring from acting in 2022, and has not even been seen outside.
His family has not issued many details about his health condition, but he was seen today near Studio City, California, in a rare public appearance.

For the first time since his diagnosis was announced, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and his youngest daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, were not seen with him, although they fully support him and have never left his side since his diagnosis.
It is noteworthy that his wife, Emma, has become a major face in the initiative to raise awareness of frontotemporal dementia, after gaining great experience from caring for her international star husband.

Family announced his final retirement from acting in March 2022, after it was confirmed that he had lost his speech, and the family members issued a joint statement to the public, in which they indicated that the medical diagnosis confirmed that Bruce Willis’ condition would severely affect his cognitive abilities.
According to the statement at the time, Bruce Willis suffered from “aphasia,” a language disorder resulting from brain damage that affects a person’s ability to communicate.
To Bruce’s amazing family and fans, we wanted to let you know that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is affecting his cognitive abilities,” he added.
The following year, they revealed that he had been diagnosed with dementia.
He continued: “As a result, and with great consideration, Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.”
The statement concluded by addressing the audience: “This is a challenging time for our family, and we deeply appreciate your continued love, compassion and support. We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and we wanted to engage his fans because we know how much he means to you. As Bruce always said, ‘Live your life,’ and together we plan to do just that.
