Beijing, Europe Brief News – Mainland China reported the first Coronavirus Deaths since last January on Saturday. Two people died in the northeastern region of Jilin. Everyone is surprised to see the ‘dynamic clearance in the country which is the region of this outbreak. They aim to work harder and reduce this transmission as soon as they can. The officials in the country have strengthened security measures and are targeting shutdowns in various areas.
With the quick testing scheme in the areas where cases are high, they aim to bring the number down. Jilin shares a border with North Korea and Russia. It is responsible for more than two-thirds of infections in this new wave that is taking over China.
Nearly 30,000 people in China are hospitalized due to COVID infection. However, 95% of them have mild or no symptoms which is a good sign. The number of Coronavirus Deaths in the country now stands at 4,638. Similarly, China reported around 2,228 new cases of coronavirus.

In some countries, the rate of vaccinations is comparatively slow. The rise in cases we are seeing right now is just the ‘tip of an iceberg’. Globally the new infections have jumped by 8%. However, the biggest jump is observed in the Western Pacific region.
South Korea and China have seen a massive rise in their cases. As the cases are rising, the death rate is increasing simultaneously too. Africa has seen a drastic increase of 12% and a 14% rise in the death rate. Europe sees a 2% increase while there is no jump in the death rate.
