Dutch Medical Care Minister Bruno Bruins collapsed this evening during a debate about the coronavirus in the national parliament.
Bruins wobbled a little and got down on his knees, then one of his colleagues helped him up. After taking a couple of sips of water, Bruins left the plenary.
On Twitter, Bruins said he “suffered from faintness from exhaustion and intensive weeks. Now things are going better again. Im going home now to rest tonight so I can get back to work tomorrow.”
