London, Europe Brief News – A London based law-firm asked British police help for the arrest of India’s army chief and some Indian government officials over their so-called roles in the war crimes happening in Occupied Kashmir under the essence of “Universal Jurisdiction”
Law firm stoke white said that they have submitted a file full of evidence to the local police war crime unit on how Gen Manoj Mukund and home minister Amit shah used Indian armed forces for kidnapping, torture and killing of a hundred citizens and journalists.
Stoke white report is a set of 2000 testimonials captured from 2020-to 2021. Their reports also blame eight Indian army officials for having direct involvement in the torture happening in Occupied Kashmir.
Indian foreign minister and the home minister refused to comment on this issue.
Since the request to London police has been made under the essence of Universal jurisdiction” which provide countries with the power to prosecute individuals accused of violence performed against humans.
Hakan Camuz , director of international law at stoke white explained that he is optimistic that the report will be able to convince the London police to start the investigation against the Indian officials and arrest them. He further added that they are requesting the British Government to have a serious look into this matter.

The police application was mainly made on behalf of two parties; the Family of Zia Mustafa who was a victim of extrajudicial killing by Indian officials in 2021 and the human rights campaigner Ahsan Untoo.
The Stoke white reports suggested that the violence has been exacerbated with the introduction of the Covid’19 pandemic.
Its reports also contain information about the arrest of Khurram Parvez who was the most dominant right activist of the region.
Khurram Parvez was working for the occupied Kashmir civil society and has written several detailed reports about the torture and violence committed by Indian military forces.
The reports discuss the arrest of the journalist Sajad Gul who posted a video in which his family was protesting for the killing of a freedom commander.
Human rights lawyers have now started to use the essence of Universal jurisdiction to seek justice for the people who are unable to file complaints against the culprits in their countries.
