New York, Europe Brief News– The fashionista Kim Kardashian was honoured at Monday’s annual Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards for her shapewear line.
The founder and owner of KKW Beauty was awarded the first-ever Innovation Award presented by Amazon Fashion for her shapewear brand SKIMS.
Co-Founder and CEO Jens Grede and Founding Partner and Chief Product Officer Emma Grede also joined Kardashian to receive the inaugural award.
Kim Kardashian has long been a style star to watch. She regularly wears statement-making pieces from design houses like Mugler, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Balmain, Versace and many others.
Her most recent standout fashion moments include the all-black, hooded Balenciaga outfit she wore to the 2021 Met Gala. The pink Balenciaga bodysuit she wore while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in October was also brilliant.
The star first came to prominence through her family’s E! reality TV show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which ran for 20 seasons and recently ended this June.
She translated her popularity into several successful businesses in the fashion and beauty spaces. She also launched a makeup line, KKW Beauty, in 2017 to capitalize on her popular contour makeup look.
Kardashian later expanded the line into all makeup categories and launched a complementary fragrance brand, called KKW Fragrance.
