Ooredoo announced it would cooperate with Samsung to make the Galaxy A22 5G available in Qatar.
The new mobile has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory and comes in three primary
colours, purple, grey, and white.
The device supports the super-fast 5th generation networks (5G) and has a multifunction camera.
A22 5G features a large 6.6″ FHD screen with an advanced Infinity-V display.
5G technology on an FHD screen guarantees the best viewing experience when watching
content or playing video games.
The device offers users a thrilling experience thanks to its high battery capacity of 5000 mAh.
Furthermore, the Galaxy A22 5G has three back cameras, a 48-MP main, a 5-MP wide, and
a 2-MP deep camera. It also has an 8-MP front camera.
The Director of Public relations at Ooredoo, Sabah Al-Kuwari, said the introduction of the
new Samsung is a step towards increasing the range of devices supporting 5G.
Al-Kuwari showed dedication to providing users with the best speeds at the best value to
maximize the digital future they are trying to build in Qatar.
“Achieving complete customer satisfaction is one of our main goals in the company, so we
are very pleased to add this device to our 5G portfolio,” Al-kuwari added.
Ooredoo and Samsung
Samsung had signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ooredoo a few years ago.
Ooredoo is a major telecommunications company formerly known as QtelGroup and has a
strong presence in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia markets.
Based on the MOA, the two firms have worked together on projects that help to accelerate
the growth of on-the-move technology use.
The firms paid special attention to Qatar and Indonesia when adopting the Internet in several Ooredoo markets.
Samsung values Ooredoo’s ability to offer products in the Ooredoo market, where 40% of
young people are under 25.
This motivated the company to open more branches and has since paid close attention to
providing data services to young people.
This brought the company a step closer to having a good impact on the young by enriching
their lives and creating new opportunities.
