Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian companies would achieve higher profits due to Moscow’s withdrawal from the Black Sea grain export agreement, driven by the surge in grain prices.
Putin added on Saturday that Russia will share the profits with the poorest nations through the free delivery of its grain.
He also revealed that the proposal to establish a “gas hub” in Turkey remains on the agenda, clarifying that Moscow aims to create an electronic platform for gas sales in Turkey, as reported by Reuters.
Last year, Putin proposed the idea of establishing a Russian “gas hub” in Turkey as Moscow works to redirect its energy exports after European countries significantly reduced their imports in response to Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
Putin stated that he agreed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to hold telephone talks on Wednesday.
