London, Europe Brief News – Buckingham palace has confirmed that the Queen Elizabeth will continue to work on Light duties this week despite suffering from the Covid-19. Light duties can include the reading of state papers that she read almost everyday.
Daniela Relph, Royal Correspondent said “The mood at Windsor Castle is one of caution and no major cause for alarm”.
The Queen will keep doing her usual activities at Windsor Castle but the Queen’s medical team is set to keep a keen eye on her since she is not as healthy as she was last year.
The Prince of Wales also found out positive for Covid-19 virus exactly two days after he met the Queen at Windsor Castle. Not only the Prince but reportedly a number of other people have also tested positive at Castle.
Queen does not have any scheduled engagement with anyone for the course of the whole week but it is likely that she will postpone the video meetings if there were any planned.
On the other Hand, A short trip to Denmark by the Duchess of Cambridge is set to take place as planned for the time being.
The Queen who will be celebrating her 96th Birthday in April received her first covid-19 Vaccine in January last year. The Queen’s medical team claim that she has received all her follow up Booster Jabs after that.
She is believed to be triple vaccinated and doctors expect that a team of Royal Physicians will now be making antiviral treatments available for her.
