EBN- Michael Jackson died more than a decade ago, but his “legendary” impact still exists. A new report revealed new details about his death.
In his death certificate, Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Conrad Murray, said that he found the global singer in bed not breathing on the afternoon of June 25, 2009.
The pop legend was practicing music on the night of June 24, before a series of concerts at London’s O2 Arena, and did not leave his bedroom in the morning.
After trying to revive Jackson for 5 to 10 minutes to no effect, Murray called paramedics, who performed CPR on the King of Pop for 42 minutes at his home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, before transporting him to the hospital.
The ambulance arrived at the Ronald Reagan University of California Medical Center at 1:14 p.m., and Jackson was pronounced dead after more than an hour of attempted resuscitation at 2:26 p.m.
It is said that Michael Jackson died of an overdose of propofol and benzodiazepine, after which his heart stopped.
The King of Pop married Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie in 1994, whom he first met in the 1970s. They separated in early 1996, with Mary citing “irreconcilable differences” as the basis for divorce.
Michael reportedly relied heavily on Lisa Marie for support, when he first became embroiled in child abuse allegations.
In 1996, Jackson married nurse Debbie Rowe, who worked with the dermatologist who was treating him for vitiligo. She offered to bear his children, and after she became pregnant in 1996, she married the King of Pop in Sydney, Australia, and they separated after 3 years.
Michael Jackson has two children from his second wife, Debbie Rowe, and one from an unnamed donor.
