Brussels, Europe Brief News –A small number of Polestar’s experimental EVs will be built just for the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2021. One hundred and twenty-seven electric vehicles, known as EVs, will be produced. Let’s review all you need to know about them!
Launch of the Polestar’s Experimental EV
To commemorate the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Polestar will produce a limited number of “Beast,” their experimental, high-performance one-off. The 476-horsepower EV will be produced in 270 units by the Swedish manufacturer and sold in 270 units.
Fastback sedans with 476 horsepower will be produced by the Swedish electric car manufacturer and sold in the United States, with 47 of those vehicles destined for the market in the United States. A limited number of Polestar 2 “BST edition 270” models will be sold in Europe, China, and North America.

The updated Polestar 2 has a dual-motor layout that pumps out 408 horsepower in the commercial version. There was also a 10mm increase in the vehicle’s width on both sides and a 2mm drop in ride height to enhance its track handling.
A total of 476 horsepower compared to the production version’s 408 horsepower.
Unique Features of the New EV
Even characteristics from the defunct plug-in hybrid Polestar 1, such as 9 x 21-inch wheels and 275/30R21 Pirelli PZero Rosso performance tires, have been carried over to the new model. It will have 4-piston Brembo brakes instead of the 6-piston Akebono brakes seen on the Goodwood edition.
Auxiliary adjustment chambers under the hood and specifically constructed and unique hlins 2-way adjustable dampers further enhance traction and responsiveness. There is also a front strut bar and 20% stronger springs for greater stiffness.

Expected launch of Polestar 2 in 2022
In mid-2022, the manufacture of the Polestar 2 BST edition 270 will begin.
Early deliveries of the Polestar 2 BST version 270 are expected in the fourth quarter of 2022. On Polestar’s website, prospective purchasers may sign up for a “tailored sales process,” including a “customized sales procedure.”
