Heung-Min Son, who completed his 6th season with Tottenham, putting in more than 280 appearances and scoring 107 goals in all competitions, has reached a new deal with the English club until 2025.
The Korean player along with the Golden player, Kane, have established a successful partnership, breaking a Premier League record with 14 goals in one season.
Son stated “It was already a big honour to play here for six years, the club have showed me massive, massive respect and obviously I’m very happy to be here.”
“It’s like home, especially with the fans, the players, the staff. There was no decision. It was easy. I’m so happy to be here and will be so glad to see the fans again soon.”
The spurs fans love Son, who secured a place in the Premier League team of the season beside Kane, as the Lilywhites finishes the season in the seventh place.
“We are pleased to have agreed a new long-term contract with Heung-Min Son as we move towards the start of a new season and a new chapter for the club with Nuno Espirito Santo,” said Fabio Paratici, Spurs managing director.
He added “Everyone can see the real positive impact he has on the club, both on and off the field, and we are delighted that he will play a part in what we are trying to achieve in the coming years.”
The Spurs will participate in the Europa Conference League this season, managed by a newly-hired coach, following the special one. Nuno Espirito Santo will coach the English club for two years, as he signed a two-year deal.
Tottenham are about to secure a deal with the goalkeeper of Atalanta, Pierluigi Gollini, who finished his medical check in Milan on Thursday.
