London, Europe Brief News – Boris Johnson has found himself in deep trouble for his political life after the allegations of breaching the covid-9 protocol which was imposed to fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The allegations stated that he along with the staff was partied at the heart of the British government and broke all rules.
ITV reported that Johnson staff had thrown a surprise birthday party and Boris along with his wife Carrie attended a party of 30 people in the cabinet room at 10 Downing Street on 19th June 2020. It was the time when the indoor gathering was banned to avoid the covid’19 spread.
Johnson’s office stated in defence that it was a brief party joined by a group of staff to wish Boris Johnson a happy birthday who merely stayed there for less than 10 minutes and everything was over.
A spokesman said that Boris believed he had not broken any law by joining any gatherings.
Boris Johnson stated to parliament that he respects the London metropolitan police decision to start an investigation on the matter to reach the truth as it will be helpful in giving people clarity about what is true and what is not.
He further added that if anyone from his staff member will be called for an investigation, they will fully cooperate.

Boris Johnson has survived a lot of scandals throughout his career but this time the pressure has been mounted by some personalities who want him to resign from his position.
The police explained that they are not sure how much time would take for the investigation to get completed.
Michael Ellis told parliament that he requested the house to stay patient for the findings of the Cabinet office investigation and for police to wind up their work.
