The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy has discussed with UN Security Council the horror they face due to the Russian Invasion. He believes that ‘Accountability has to be inevitable.’ This is not surprising that he accused the Russian troops of committing terrible war-related crimes. Besides, World War two it is the biggest war.
Volodymyr has a wide range of footage available from the scene. The video of burned, bloodied, and mutilated bodies are seen everywhere. There is no doubt this scene is scary. Children are brutally killed along with the older generation. The situation is worse in Irpin, Dymerka, Mariupol, and Bucha. These areas are invaded by Russian troops and killing many civilians.

U.N Ambassador of Russia Vassily Nebenzia has revealed to the Security Council that Russian troops are targeting civilians. Bucha is under Russian control but not even a single person suffered violence under them.

The Ukrainian President questions the UN for not paying attention to them in this tough time. The 15-member UN Security Council is not able to take any action against Russia. Everyone is aware that Russia has invaded Ukraine on February 24th, 2022. Moscow has veto power while few other council members include the United States, France, Britain, and China.
According to Ukraine, they are dealing with Russia which has strong veto power. They are using it as a right to kill many innocent people. Volodymyr has addressed everyone in a live video and talks about the happenings in Ukraine.
He addressed UN Security Council from the capital Kyiv and has requested the body to reform and do something about the war. However, Russia wants Ukraine to become their silent slave and it seems like a destructive plan.
Russia is carrying out a destructive military operation. They are aiming at destroying the military in Ukraine and getting hold of everything. It is surprising that they even deny attacking the civilians. Ukraine in itself is a parliamentary democracy while other countries believe Moscow is not doing the right thing.
India is such a country that heavily relies on Russia. They even get all the military hardware from them. However, they don’t seem to be happy with the Ukraine-Russia war. UN must call for an independent investigation. According to the US ambassador, every country including the UN must stop Russia from what they are doing. US plans to suspend Russia from the UN human rights council too.
